6 BULLS Sign with the CONROE STORM Arena Team!

Early Saturday morning Six of the Montgomery County Bulls Inked on the Dotted line to be apart of Conroe's first ever arena team.  The Conroe Storm will be playing in the APFL. Each player was equally excited about the chance of being apart of history in the marking.  Thomas who played for the bulls in 04 an 05  said " I am so excited to be apart of the storm.  I am glad that all my hard work is paying off now."  Mini camp starts later in the month of January due to the season starting in March 2nd.  

Martin Garza  LB       Martin signed with the Storm after 3 successful seasons with the Bulls. Each Year Garza finished with over 80 tackles with a best in 04 of 115. Martin was also a Team Captain with all 3 squads!

Danny Nephew DL     Danny signed with the Storm after 3 successful seasons with the bulls and posting a league best 32 sacks in 15 games. Danny is 6'1 265 lbs and runs a 4.75 in the 40 yard dash.

Joey Saavedra K        Joey signed after 3 successful seasons with the bulls and posting the longest kick      in franchise history at 48 yards.

Jason Thomas DB      Jason Played corner for the bulls for 2 seasons.  Jason earned Special Teams Player of the game against the Maryland Marauders in the 2004 championship game. Best 40 of 4.51 for the Bulls.

Brandon Brooks OL    Brandon Brooks played only one season with the Bulls and started at right tackle.  Brandon is 6'4 275 lbs and runs a 5.1 40 yard dash

David High RB            David signed with the Storm after playing for the Bulls for 2 years.  David Posted a season high 156 yards and 2 TD's in 2004

TORONTO ARGONAUTS, RE-SIGN MICHAEL BISHOP
 

8/11/2006 -- Montgomery County Bulls Quarterback MICHAEL BISHOP, who has been an intricate part of our football team this season, agreed to a contract with the Toronto Argonauts of The Canadian Football League (CFL). M. Bishop has been a member of the Argonauts for the past four years, who are currently 2-5, and dealing with a number of QB injuries.
 
The M.C. Bulls family thank him (M. Bishop) for his time spent on the team. He is a true leader and he knows our doors are always open to him. Re-joining The Argonauts is an opportunity he deserves. We all will be watching when he steps on the field, to lead the Argonauts to another Grey Cup Championship.

Andrew Higham FS 6' 205

Andrew Higham played in the 2004 and 2005 seasons posting 15 interceptions and 163 tackles in two seasons.  Last year with the Copperheads Higham posted 14 passes defended, 3 INT's and 32 tackles. 

                                  

 

Shane Played QB for the bulls in 2004 and 2005.  Shane had a personal best best in 2006 for the Texas Copperheads throwing for 175 yards and 2 TD's against the West Palm Beach Phantoms in the NIFL Arena Football.

 

The Montgomery County Bulls, Offensive Lineman awarded full-athletic scholarship to South Western Oklahoma State University. At 6'3, 280; Dee Birchfield, was an intricate part of our 2004 Western Conference Championship. He symbolizes what our team, and our league, provides to each and every player. MONTGOMERY COUNTY BULLS @ WAL-MART

The Montgomery County Bulls will be getting into the Community  by signing Autographs and selling BBQ to the public in front of Wal-Mart in Montgomery, TX on APRIL 1ST. 

The Bulls will be at Wal-Mart from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. and signing Autographs all day.  BBQ plates are $6 a piece and go to support the bulls in there run to the Championship!
